Description

The Gyb'Easy boom brake uses friction from a specialised line passing over the boom to allow smooth, controlled gybes — reducing the risk of accidents and eliminating jerks. Tension adjustment across 3 positions lets you fine-tune braking to suit mainsail size and wind conditions.

Quick to install: attach the shackle to a boom eye strap. Compatible with modern boats and traditional gaffers.

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
