Description

The Airmar SS175M's medium-frequency CHIRP transducer delivers the ideal combination of coverage, extended depth range, and ultra-clear target resolution in mid to deeper water. Operating at 85–135 kHz, it reveals fish at depths up to 457 m (1,500') with excellent shallow to mid-depth performance, bottom detail, and fish-target separation — all from a single installation.

The SS175M uses Airmar's patented Tilted Element™ technology, with the ceramic element fixed at a set angle within the housing. When installed flush to the hull, the tilt corrects for hull deadrise, orienting the element horizontally for maximum echo returns.

Available in three Tilted Element models:

Fixed 20° — for 16° to 24° hull deadrise angles
Fixed 12° — for 8° to 15° hull deadrise angles
Fixed 0° — for 0° to 7° hull deadrise angles

This listing is for the 12° Tilted Element version with a Raymarine 11-Pin connector, suited for hull deadrise angles of 8° to 15°. Available as an OEM connector model or as a Mix and Match™ version (9 m cable with standard connector + 1 m adapter). Stainless steel housing — compatible with all hull materials.
