Airmar B175 High Wide CHIRP, 1kW, 0° Tilted Element™, Raymarine 11-Pin, DT
Description
Get more coverage under your boat with Airmar's unique wide-beam, high-frequency, CHIRP-ready B175HW. Operating across 150–250 kHz with a constant 25° beamwidth, it delivers superior bottom detail and fish-target separation — with twice the coverage of most high-frequency narrow-beam transducers for detecting fish in the upper water column and producing clear fish arches on your display. The ideal choice for both inshore and pelagic fishing where resolution and maximum coverage are essential, down to 152 m (500').
The B175HW uses Airmar's patented Tilted Element™ technology, with the ceramic element fixed at a set angle within the housing. When installed flush to the hull, the tilt corrects for hull deadrise, orienting the element horizontally for maximum echo returns.
Available in three Tilted Element models:
- Fixed 20° — for 16° to 24° hull deadrise angles
- Fixed 12° — for 8° to 15° hull deadrise angles
- Fixed 0° — for 0° to 7° hull deadrise angles
This listing is for the 0° Tilted Element version with a Raymarine 11-Pin connector. Available as an OEM connector model or as a Mix and Match™ version (9 m cable with standard connector + 1 m adapter). Bronze housing — suitable for fibreglass or wood hulls.
