Description

The superior quality of Quick thrusters is acknowledged by the best boatbuilders worldwide. Designed and manufactured in Quick Nautical Equipment premises, this Quick BTQ 180 thruster boasts the 'Made-in-Italy' prestige in every component.

It can be installed on either bow or stern, and has an electric DC motor with a single rotating propeller system. Running on 12V or 24V DC with 3.3kW of motor power, it delivers 65kgf (143.3lb) of thrust. Requires a tunnel diameter of 185mm (7.3 inches). Suited to vessels 8–11m (26–36ft).

Tunnel thrusters are the most common type of thrusters. The tunnel is installed through either the bow or the stern, below the waterline. The tunnel protects the propulsion unit and concentrates the propeller's thrust. All Quick thrusters can be installed on both bow and stern thanks to suitable tunnels which allow the two different installations.

Better performance, lower absorption

The 4-blade propellers guarantee maximum thrust performance and reduction in current absorption. They are made of composite materials, resistant in every condition.

The gearbox has been designed so that the behaviour of the propeller is unaffected in either direction. The bronze propeller gear leg is provided with a hydrodynamic profile that minimises turbulence.

Maintenance is not required since the special highly-resistant components guarantee a perfect lubrication seal for life. The anodic aluminium protection is easily replaceable. In case of total corrosion of the anode, the propeller doesn't get lost because it's fixed directly to the pod, independently from the anode.

The elastic joint that optimises the alignment between motor and gearbox is an exclusive Quick design. This acts as an even-tension device, preserving the operating system from impulses from the bow thruster, with above-average results.

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
