Anode Material Selection Guide

Selecting the correct anode material for your operating environment is essential for effective protection:

Fresh water: Use aluminium anodes — aluminium has a greater difference of potential with other metals, which is important as fresh water has higher electrical resistance than salt water.
Salt water: Use zinc or aluminium anodes. Aluminium works in salt water but is sacrificed faster; zinc is the traditional choice.
Brackish water: Use zinc or aluminium anodes.
Magnesium anodes are not recommended — the difference of potential is too great and can damage hull paint, particularly in brackish or salt water.

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
