Ensuring Optimum Damping of Vibrations

The Vetus Bullflex Type 16 flexible coupling is designed to deliver superior vibration damping for marine propulsion systems. Its highly flexible rubber element smooths out torsional vibrations, ensuring low-noise, vibration-free power transmission between the engine and propeller shaft — without backlash. The coupling also provides excellent propeller shaft alignment.

Misalignment of up to 2° permissible
Excellent centring of the shaft, allowing high shaft revolutions
Shaft remains centred even in reverse gear
Centring ring can be removed where two or more bearings are applied
Built-in thrust damper reducing axial vibrations
Non-tapered clamping hub for perfect centring and easy dismantling

Specifications

Models 8, 12 and 16 feature a 4" and 5" gearbox connection
Vetus can supply the required fastenings for installation onto the gearbox
Not suitable for V-Drives

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
