Vetus Hull Anode - Zinc Series

Sacrificial anodes are essential for protecting all underwater metal components from galvanic corrosion — required on wooden, fibreglass, aluminium, and steel hulls alike. The Vetus V-Quipment Zinc Hull Anodes are manufactured to the highest standard, meeting U.S. MIL-A-18001K specification. Anodes that do not meet this specification have little or no protective effect.

Zinc anodes are recommended for salt water and brackish water use. For fresh water, aluminium anodes are preferred due to their greater potential difference with other metals. Connection kits are sold separately. Inspect annually and replace when 50% consumed.

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at chandlery@bosuns.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
