Vetus BOWHMD Hydraulic Bow Thruster
The Vetus BOWHMD series hydraulic bow thrusters are engineered for the most demanding applications, delivering high thrust with continuous-duty capability. Unlike electric thrusters, hydraulic thrusters have no electrical connections at the thruster or pump, require minimal routine maintenance, and can run continuously — though not as primary propulsion units.
Available in 5 stocked thrust ratings from 55kgf to 310kgf (full range extends to 550kgf to special order). Multiple control head options are available, including proportional control, in three control regimens.
Important: Hydraulic thruster installation requires formal training in power hydraulics theory and practice. Vetus customer support will review the entire system with you prior to installation to ensure correct operation. Access to local hydraulic hose and fitting suppliers is essential.

Returns policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at chandlery@bosuns.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
