Vetus Zinc Shaft Anode - Bow & Stern Thruster

Vetus zinc shaft anodes are precision-engineered for direct installation onto the propeller shaft, providing reliable galvanic corrosion protection for bow and stern thruster installations. The two-piece design incorporates an interlock system in both halves to ensure perfect bolt hole alignment every time — and as the anode erodes, it cannot come loose.

Reinforced material around the bolt holes prevents fasteners from working loose over time. Available in 6 variants to suit thruster ratings from 23 Kgf through to 220 Kgf, including a universal variant for all stern thruster sets.

Note: Shaft anodes are not recommended for high-speed vessels. They can create turbulence around the propeller and cause shaft imbalance as they erode. For high-speed applications, consider the Vetus propeller nut with integrated zinc anode instead.

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
