Vetus Retractable Swing Thruster – 95 kgf, 12V, 185mm Duct, V-CAN (STE9512D)

The Vetus STE9512D is a retractable swing thruster for power & sail boats from 30 to 60 feet. Built around a proven Vetus DC thruster, it deploys and retracts automatically via a simple, sturdy swing mechanism with permanently lubricated bearings. The hull bottom plate is integrated into the propeller duct — no separate open/close mechanism required. When retracted, drag is less than a standard tunnel thruster. V-CAN (Vetus CANbus) digital control allows future integration into boat-wide electronics. Fiberglass housing and electronic control mechanism included in the base package.

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at chandlery@bosuns.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
