Description

The Vetus WOA010A is a drop-profile weld-on hull anode in aluminium-indium-zinc alloy (Mil-A-24779 SH), providing sacrificial corrosion protection for steel hulls. The streamlined drop contour minimises drag, and the steel strap allows direct welding to the hull. At 0.55kg gross weight, it is the smallest anode in the Vetus WOA drop-profile range — ideal for smaller vessels or supplementary protection.

Aluminium anodes are recommended for freshwater use and also perform well in saltwater, though they sacrifice faster in salt. Inspect annually and replace when 50% sacrificed. Studs and through-hull bolts for GRP and wooden hulls are available separately.
